She is survived by: her husband Garvis Hughes of New DeRoche; her children, Jana Lingo of New DeRoche, Kelly Purifoy of New DeRoche and Amy Clayton of New DeRoche; her grandchildren, Dray Williams (Brooke), Jasa Williams (Gabe), Victoria Lingo, Ethan Purifoy (Jasmine), Kimberly Purifoy (Luke) and Dylan Clayton; her great grandchild Londyn Purifoy; her siblings, Charles Don Martin and Barbara Slaughter; and her sister-in-law Martha Sue McDermott (Randy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
