He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gossage and Janey Yates Gossage; his wife Shirley Gossage; his son Robert Lee Gossage, Jr.; his sister Lorene Miller (Paul); and his brother-in-law Theo Hawks.
He is survived by: his daughter Katrina Morris (Dennis) of Arkadelphia; his brother-in-law Kenneth Foster (Tammy) of Hot Springs; his sister Helen Hawks of Hot Springs; and his grandsons, Robert Allen Howard (Tiffany), Clayton Morris (Aubrey), Blake Morris (Sam) and Jarrod Morris (Laura). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
