He is survived by: his children, Kyle Yates Jarboe (Daniel) of Arkadelphia, Robert Douglas Yates, II of San Diego, CA and John Scott Yates (Sandra) of Mason, MI; his sister Joan Yates McGarry Methfessel of Annapolis, MD; and his grandchildren, Bryan Jarboe, Matthew Jarboe, Kenneth Jarboe, Amy Jarboe, Jordan Jarboe, Sydnie Knutson (Yates), Bradley Yates, Alexandria Yates, Robert Douglas Yates III and Kai Noah Yates. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
