He was predeceased by: his parents, Benard Escalante and Jean Escalante (Bull). He is survived by: his children, Ashlyn Ryan Bardsley (Brandon) of Little Rock, Steven Lucas (Luke) and Nicholas Elliott (Chantal) of Conroe; his siblings, Melinda "Meda" Pettie of Searcy and Stan Escalante (Cindie) of Arkadelphia; his granddaughter Evelyn Escalante; his aunt Edna Hewitt; his uncle Marion Escalante; his nieces, Brandi Street and Lyndi Greenwich; and his nephew Chris Pettie. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.
