He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Windom and Isa Mae Godwin Garner; his spouse Willie Ann Horrell of Hardy; his child Thomas Linn "Tom"; his siblings, Johney Eugene Garner, Atha Claudine Heflin, Willie Mae Pratt and Margaret Lou Brennan; and his nephew Steven Heflin.
He is survived by : his friend Fred Lamb; his daughter Julea Glynn Garner; his son-in-law Rev. Brien Nix Hall; his granddaughter Lillie Garner Hall; his family, Jim, Marlene Sawyer, Fred and Janet Lamb; and also, Mark, Kyle Knighten and Katy Kalb.
