He was predeceased by : his parents, William Thomas Johnston and Bertha Mae Johnston (Timbs) of Waldo, AR; his sister Ann Waller of Ashdown, AR; and his foster siblings, Lou Childrey, Johnny Vandewater and Cathy Watson (Childrey).
He is survived by : his wife Marion Johnston (Buchanan) of Prescott, Arkansas.; his son Eddy; his daughter-in-law Susan Johnston of Ashdown, AR; and his grandchildren, Andy Johnston of Ashdown, AR., Drew, Jeremy, Marissa and Wade Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
