She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Barnard Brents and Mary Evelyn Brents (Barker); her siblings, Peggy Brents and Robert "Bobby" Brents; her nephew Richard Simpler; and her niece Penny Brents.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Dennis (Soka) of Terrell, TX., Kenneth Dennis (Shawnde) of Poetry, TX. and Vanessa Floyd (Robert) of Ashdown, AR.; and her siblings, JoAnn Kimberlin (Jack) of Frisco, TX., Brenda Smith (Charles) of Mt. Pleasant, TX. and Ernie Brents (Tina) of Henderson, TX.. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curry - Welborn Funeral Home (2256 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
