He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Tilley and Loraine Tilley (Congelton); his wife Carol Tilley; and his stepson Roy Self. He is survived by: his sons, Perry (Michelle Tilley) and Scott (Tammy Tilley); his stepdaughters, Janice Jones and Jennifer Martens; and his sister Bea Sutton of Amity, AR. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Amity First Baptist Church (218 E Texas St, Amity, AR 71921).
