He is survived by: his siblings, Rayburn Cole (Betty) of Blanchard, OK, Shirley Yount of Fort Gibson, OK, Patsy Thomason of Muskogee, OK, Pauline Hall of Muskogee, OK and Linda Bynum of Muskogee, OK; his children, Houston Cole, Jr. (Rita) of Ashdown, AR, Frank Cole (Karrie) of Texarkana, TX, Jesse Cole (Jana) of Springdale, AR and Kathy Nichols of Bartlesville, OK; and his grandchildren, James Cole (Maria), Tabbatha Gonzalez (Leo), Tiffany Landaal (Caleb), Kayla Stevens (John), Kami Clayton (Charlie), Daniel Alexander (Heather), Brandon Nichols, Jessica Nichols, Shauna Hernes Bradow, Michelle Hendricks, Melissa Castillo and Linda Skipper. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; and 14 great great-grand children.
