He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C. Crews and Mary Lou Crews; his wife Francis Lousidney Crews; his son-in-law Eddie Hays; and his son Mark Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Crews (Jennifer) of Arden, AR and Deann Hays of Arden, AR; his siblings, Mike Crews (Janie) of Van Buren, AR and Mary Jane Ambler (Travis) of Arden, AR.; his stepgranddaughter Haley North; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Grayson and Mayce.
Joe's most important contribution to agriculture was his gift for teaching.
