With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Joyce Parmer of Ashdown, Arkansas, who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marion departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marion. Though Marion may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Tong and Archie Ruth Tong (Young); and her husband Earl Parmer. She is survived by: her children, Richard Parmer of Ashdown, Sonda (Jerry Preston), Consonna (Michael Capps), Kristi (Delane Gosa) and Wendy (Cecil Zeigler); and her sisters, Janie Bates, Joan Johnson, Kay Sherman and Wanda Lee. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
