Rita leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rita’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Cooper and Gladys Cooper (Smith); her husband Barry Whetstein; and her brother Hal Cooper, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Brian; her daughter-in-law Debra Whetstein of Ashdown; her daughter Jennifer Hale of Conroe, TX; her grandchildren, Devon Schneider of Cypress, TX and Paige Hale of Houston, TX; her nephews, Hal, Lee and Clayton Cooper; and her niece Mindy Echols.
