He was predeceased by: his parent Dorothy Jones Coleman; his son Tim DeHart; his son-in-law Thomas Pettit; his brother-in-law Wayne Smith; his adoptive parents, Robert DeHart and Angeline DeHart; and his siblings, Buddy Coleman and Patsy Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Walker; his children, Mandy Penney, Pete Penney (Sarah), Debi Pettit, Pam Lisenby (Joe), Jennifer Dehart, Robert Bradley DeHart and Stephen DeHart; his siblings, Eraina Smith, Francie Miller (Phil), Rose House (Charles), Johnny Coleman (Cathy) and James Ogden (Deborah); and his sister-in-law Jeffie Walker (Paul Walker).
