He is survived by: his wife Betty Grooms of Ashdown; his son Joshua Grooms of Little Rock, AR; his stepchildren, Aaron Carver (Amber) of Texarkana, AR, Katelyn Gregory (Breanna) of Ashdown, AR and Rendi Nichols (Colby) of Foreman, AR; his sisters, Karen Tabler of Ashdown, AR and Kim; his brother-in-law Paul Stanley of Ashdown, AR; his grandchildren, Braxton Knight, Jaycee Platt, Jake Nichols, Dylan, Edwin Carver, Kelton, Ava and Alaina Gregory; and his close friend Joe Brimberry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alleene Cemetery (244 Lr 133, Foreman, AR 71820).
