As we bid adieu to Alta Luna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alta Luna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Cheek (Geneva Cheek) and Geneva Cheek; and her siblings, Terry and Elizabeth Dean (Cheek). She is survived by: her friends, Kay Sunderland (John) and Melissa Beeson (Mike); her nephews, Jason Dean (Vicki) and Timothy Dean (Sue); and her niece A'Lana Cutshall (Jerry).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Lemley Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Atkins Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Harding University or the Atkins Church of Christ, organizations close to Alta's heart.
