It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Johnson of Atkins, Arkansas, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wendell Johnson and Thelma May Cook; and his brothers, Larry and Eric. He is survived by: his wife Judy Curtis; his children, Tanya and James Jr.; and his stepsons, Doyle Blaylock and Kurt Blalock.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lemley Chapel (1401 N Church St, Atkins, AR 72823).
