She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Darter and Edna Anthony Darter; her husband L. Elmo Haney; and her brother Larry Darter. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Ginny), Bruce (Susan), Mark, Andrew and Candace (Christopher); her brother Lloyd Darter; and her sisters-in-law, Brunhilda Darter and Elizabeth Norris (Carroll). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her honor be made to Gentiva Hospice.
