He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyd Isom and Nellie Isom; and his siblings, Randolph (Doc), Roy, Ann, Jesse, Wayne, Dub, Hoyd Ray, Jr. and Ricky.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cossey Isom; his sister Shirley Johnson (Luke); his children, Steve Isom (Tina) and Jennifer Keeling (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Brandi Easley (Brent), Kayla Richards (Jonathon), Kinsey Taylor, Dylan Isom (Bailey), Kassidy Rankin (Jackie), Sarah Dobbs (Austin), J. T. Keeling (Morgan), Isaac Keeling (Shanda), Autumn Hoskinds (Tucker) and Maddy Keeling. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and several well loved nieces and nephews.
