She was born May 29, 1952, in Lost Corner, daughter of the late Eula and Lillian Sutton Rackley. She enjoyed working in the yard and gardening, and loved spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James “Willis” Turney; and a sister, Debbie Goates.
She is survived by 2 sons, Travis Turney of Hattieville and Brian Turney of Jerusalem; 4 grandchildren, Zadie, Lillian, and Kane Turney, and Mikayla Tackett; 1 great-grandchild, Kate Tackett; sister, Kathy Baker (Kevin); and sister-in-law, Patsy Freeman (Ira).
A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.
