We announce the death of Amanda Joyce Chason (Augusta, Arkansas), born in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 73. Amanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Una Dell Jackson and Owen Phillips; and her husband Steve D. Chason.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (305 S 3rd St, Augusta, AR 72006). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you consider donating in her memory to your local animal shelter or the art department of your local school.
