He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gant and Pauline Gant; and his brothers, John Charles Gant, Paul Edward Gant and James Author Gant.
He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Wright (Earnest) and Brenda Gant of Augusta; his aunt Stella Gant of Missouri; and his sister-in-law Denise Gant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Powell Funeral Home of Woodruff County (700 N 9th St, Augusta, AR 72006). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the New Quiet Cemetery.
