He was predeceased by: his mother Connie Backus. He is survived by: his wife Marzella Backus; his daughters, Lauren Arrants (Baylor) and Fallon Backus; his grandson Aidan; his father Joe Backus (Theresa); and his sister Misty Walthall (Jonathan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vine Church (1122 S 2nd St, Cabot, AR 72023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
