She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlen Curtis and Kathy Curtis (Medlock); her brothers, Orlando Curtis, Shannon Curtis and Cliff Curtis; and her nephew Michael John Morris.

She is survived by: her husband Danny Scoggins Sr.; her children, Tiffany Brimer (Davis), Danny Scoggins Jr., David Ray Thomason and Donald Ray Thomason; her grandchildren, Kendall Marie Thomason, Hallie Diane Thomason, Cali Rachelle Bumpous, Malichi Scoggins and Ezra Brimer; her siblings, Jonathan Curtis, Jeffery Curtis, Shelby Curtis, Shena Medlock and Michael Morris; her uncle J. C. Medlock; her aunts, Cynthia Medlock and Diane; her cousins, Jason Medlock and Ashley Medlock; and her nieces and nephews, Brandon Medlock, Dustin Medlock, Taylor Curtis, Brea Ann Timberlake and Makiyla Morris.
