He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Eugene and Dorlas Rutherford (Humes); his wife Judy Rutherford; his children, Terry Rutherford and Tina Simmons; his siblings, Juanita Hamilton, Deloris Haynes and Hershel Rutherford; and his granddaughter Brandi Brown.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dana Simmons, Kimberly Ficklen, Mikey, Kristee Henson, Patrick Rutherford, Derrick Rutherford and Shawn Brown. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fredonia Cemetery (160 Fredonia Rd, Bald Knob, AR 72010).
