He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aubrey and Gladys Mae Lassiter (Bishop); and his sister Peggy Hinchey. He is survived by: his wife Karon Lassiter; his sons, Steven Lassiter, David Lassiter (Sharilee) and Philip Lassiter (Morgan); his grandchildren, Amy Headley, Ashley Giuliano, Hayley Wood, Eli Lafferty, Aubrey Lassiter, Alexis Canter, Kaycee Canter, Sawyer Lassiter and Paige Lassiter; his siblings, Jim Lassiter, Pat Kent and Linda Foster; and his close friend Steve Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1272 AR-367, Bald Knob, AR 72010). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel (1272 AR-367, Bald Knob, AR 72010).
