She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hunt and Edna Francis Hunt (Tillman); and her children, Glenn Miller and Sharon Miller. She is survived by: her husband David Paul Melby; her children, David Hutchens of Batesville, Carol Chandler of Winslow, Mary McLaughlin of Rosie and Cathy English of Batesville; and her caregiver Larry Stapleton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren with a host of extended family.
