She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Johnathan "Buster" and Olive Corinne Jackson (Page); her son Jonathan Blake Hurst; her former husband Dewayne "Cooney" Davidson; and her siblings, Claude Warren Jackson, William Monroe "Pete" Jackson, Jerry Wayne Jackson and Virginia Heath.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Mark Ball; her daughter Melanie Davidson-Hall (James Christopher) of Batesville; her stepchildren, Andrew Ball (Noriko) of Honolulu, Benjamin Ball (Melinda) of Berryville, Thomas Ball (Tracey) of Judsonia, Alice Hodge (Gary) of Manchester, Margret Holder (Jeffery) of Conway, Sarah Roberts of Benton and Elizabeth Ball of Newport; her brother Wendell Jackson of West Monroe, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Cori Hess (Dallas) of Fort Riley, Hannah Paige Hurst (Brad Carter), Layla Catherine Hall of Batesville and Cooper Davidson Hall of Batesville. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
