It is with sadness that the passing of Bill Whittington of Batesville, Arkansas is shared. Bill, born on January 29, 1949, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Whittington and Mary Flo Whittington (Cox). He is survived by: his wife Nana Whittington; his children, William Whittington of Batesville and Shelby Lillard (Jared) of Maumelle; his sisters, Floris Holbrook of Yantis and Brenda Paulk (Ike) of Tomball, Texas; his grandchildren, Hunter Lillard, Avery Lillard, Chase Lillard, Wyatt Whittington, Tilly Whittington, Riley Whittington, Dustin Brown, Zachary Brown and Sara Mesec; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Brown, Evie Brown, Caiden Brown of Paisley Hooten, J. J and Vicki Hooten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Heights Church of Christ (200 Warrior Rd, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
