He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Brown and Velma Brown; his siblings, Sherman Brown, John Brown and Jessie Manley; and his niece Janie Purcell.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Humphrey-Brown; his brother Stewart Brown (Anita) of Jonesboro; his son Chris Brown (Glenda) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Casey Brown of Jonesboro and Abigail Brown of Jonesboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
