With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles McClain Jr. of Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morris McClain Sr. and Verla Evelyn Bland McClain; and his wife Pat McClain of Cabot. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Charles "Chuck" McClain III (Stacy) of Batesville, Lori McClain of Conway, David McClain (Carey) of Conway, Jennie Beard of Conway and Julie Marth (Tommy) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Zach, Eleanor McClain of Batesville, Jake McClain, Owen, Claire Beard of Conway, Henry and Anna Marth of Chagrin Falls.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (610 W Main St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
