She was predeceased by: her uncle Jess Peebles; her grandparents, Ray, Rena Peebles, E. L. and Ruby Ingram; and her aunt Betty Peebles.
She is survived by: her parents, Syd Peebles and JoAnn Peebles of Conway; her sister Janet Harris (Jimmy); her niece Bailey Harris of Conway; and her cousins, Donna Hamaker of Cave City, Gale Peebles of Jonesboro, Donald McGee of Strawberry, Beverly McGee of Batesville, Sue Huckaba of Mabelvale and Jerry Hugh McGee of Strawberry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Qualls Funeral Home (546 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, memorials in Joy's name may be made to Independent Living Services in Conway, Arkansas.
