She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Stevenson and Georgia Byrd Stevenson; and her husband Jerry Brightwell. She is survived by: her sons, Rex Brightwell of Batesville and Stephen "Swampy" Brightwell of Batesville; her siblings, Ronald Stevenson of Austin, Texas and Libby Wilhelm of Fort Smith; her grandchildren, Haley Brightwell and Dalton Brightwell (Kassidy); and her pet Benji. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
