With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Merle Coates (Batesville, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Holland and Effie Bell Standiford Holland; and her siblings, Peggy Holland Wood, Nancy Ann Holland, John Harvey Holland, William Holland (Billy), James Holland (Jimmy) and Thomas (Tommy).
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Rieathbaum (Derek) of Cabot, Arkansas; her grandsons, Greg Cathey (Brandy) of Austin and Tyler Rieathbaum of Ward, Arkansas; her great grandchild Spencer Dozier (Liz); her great great grandchild Willow Dozier; and her brother Bobby Holland (Sharon) of Cabot, Arkansas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
