Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wilbur Smith and Nancy Helen Smith (Jeffrey); and his sister Debbie Presley. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Smith (Combs); his daughter Aleena Smith (Andrew Wixson); and his brothers, Randy Nash (Cathy) of Batesville, Jeffrey Nash (Lynn) of Wichita and Bobby Nash of Wichita. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home (510 E College Ave, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
