He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Dale and Betty Dale (Smart); his son Jerry McGee; and his siblings, Ronnie Dale and Cheryl Frazier.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Dale (Slater); his children, Randy Dale of Sherwood, Robbie Dale of Cabot, Christopher Dale of Sherwood and Shelby Dale of Hot Springs; and his siblings, Kevin Walls, Danny Walls, Mark Walls, Blaine Walls, Terry Walls, Greg Walls, Sarah Frazier and Rhonda Eason (Danny). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
