He was predeceased by: his parents, Price Harper and Luiza McCurn Harper; his wife Willene Harper; his brothers, Frank Harper and Harold Harper; and his grandsons, Terenzo Harper and William Dan Earl Cook.
He is survived by: his children, William Otis Harper Jr. (Valerie) of Batesville, Teresa Cook of Batesville and Luiza "Lucy" Harper of Batesville; his siblings, W. L. Harper of Des Moines, Iowa and Iola Harper of Des Moines, Iowa; and his nephews, Charles Grant, Ralph Grant and Michael Grant. He is also survived by ten grandsons; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
