She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Riggs and Milva Hankwitz Riggs; her husband Winfred "Wimpy" Pennington; and her sister Norma Jean Brasewell. She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Pennington of Hot Springs and Vic Pennington (Pennie) of Bearden; and her sister Alla Bush of Springhill, LA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Springs Cemetery.
