He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Horace Doherty and Verta Mae Doherty; his wife Peggy Doherty; and his grandson Scotty Balance. He is survived by: his children, Randy Doherty of El Dorado, Theresa Kirkendall of Shreveport, LA and Janet Anthony of Bearden; and his sisters, Maybell Walthall of Bearden, Thelma Jeane Orr of Bearden and Kathy Bolden of Bearden. He is also survived by three grand-daughters; three grandsons; one great grandson; two great granddaughters.
