He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Smith and Earleen Givens Smith; and his sister Susan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith; his sons, Jacob Evans (Amanda) and Charlie Smith (Morgan); his brothers, Mark Smith (Anna) and Jeb Smith; his grandchildren, Cole Evans, Artemis Evans, Laura Evans and Sage Evans; his aunts and uncles, Carolyn and Thurlow Counts; his nephews, Bryan Smith and Chris McCullough; and his niece Scarlett Amber Sarbaugh. He is also survived by cousins; and numerous relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Atchley Cemetery.
