It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Henson of Bee Branch, Arkansas, born in Damascus, Arkansas, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Henson and Myrtle Henson (Allen); his children, Brenda Sue Henson and Victor Henson; his siblings, Billie Jean Henson, Oneta Payne and James "Bug" Henson; and his grandson James Howard Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Henson; his children, Dee McJunkins (Jimmy), David Henson (Kristy), James Henson and Roger Henson (Melissa); his grandchildren, Caleb McJunkins, Jacob McJunkins, Braydon McJunkins, Daniel Henson, Chris Henson and Michael Henson; his sisters, Judy Wood (Charles) and Pat Bass; his stepdaughter Rebecca "Sunshine" McHughes (Robert); and his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Courville, Jessica Smart, Jamie Lyra and Jeremy McHughes. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Side Baptist Church (153 Sulphur Rd, Damascus, AR 72039). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
