She was predeceased by : her parents, John R. Garrett and Louise Garrett (Seamon); her husband John L. Speer; her sisters, Clara Jackson, Mildred Allen, Lois Hutchinson, Helen Traffanstedt and Irma Campbell; and her son-in-law James Forrest.
She is survived by : her daughter Gwen Forrest; her grandchildren, Sarah Crossett, Aaron Forrest, Jason Forrest and Steven Forrest; and her brothers, James Garrett and Bill Garrett. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
