With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ava LaRea Baker of Beebe, Arkansas, who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Welch and Eva Morton Welch. She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Baker Sr.; her children, Robert H. Baker Jr. (Tracy) and Marci Baker-Cox (Bill); her sisters, Linda Jo Hale, Sandra Eubanks and Jamie Welch; and her grandchildren, Mattie Watson Cox and Drew Cox. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Beebe or Arkansas Foodbank.
