We announce the death of Bobby Parks of Beebe, Arkansas, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 96. Bobby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Parks and Lois Parks; his siblings, Evelyn James, Juanita Scruggs, Wayne Parks, O'Neal Parks, Warren Tony Parks and Gerald Parks; and his grandchildren, Ryan Canard and Eric Medlen.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Parks; his daughters, Debra Hannon (Vince) of Sherwood, Mary Seiter (Jeff) of Greenbrier and Martha Medlen (John) of Cherry Log, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, John Hannon (Terry), Ashley Martinez (Angelo), Leslie Young (Michael), Diana Hogue (Jake) and Aaron Seiter. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stoney Point Methodist Church (738 Swinging Bridge Rd, Beebe, AR 72012). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Stoney Point Cemetery (738 Swinging Bridge Rd, Beebe, AR 72012).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bobby's memory to a charity of your choice, or to the Stop Alzheimer's Now fund at the University of Florida Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute (1149 Newell Drive, Gainesville, FL 32611).
