He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Short-Dent; his daughter Heather Dent-Spradlin (Robert); his grandchildren, Jacie Hearn, Jackson Lindsey and Logan Spradlin (Brianna); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Paul and Jason Hearn; and his brother Chris Dent (Angie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Smith Westbrook Funeral Home (404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the El Paso First Baptist Church (1589 Ridge Rd, El Paso, AR 72045). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Grissard Cemetery.
