It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Carrigan of Beebe, Arkansas, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Samuel Atkinson and Martha Emma Mitchell; her husbands, Lewis Carter, Sr., Daryl Koontz and Conrad Carrigan; her daughter Loreata Jean Howlett; her grandsons, Matthew Carter and Joey Kelly; and her siblings, Floice Dixon, Mansel Atkinson, Corine Gray, Clarence Atkinson, Masel Brown and Iona Bull.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Carter, Mike Carter, Lewis Carter, Jr. and Lynne Graham. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
