Carl D. Shepard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl D. Shepard of Bella Vista, Arkansas, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Darwin E. Shepard and Ruth J. Shepard (Wagner); his wife Sarah Shepard (Ellis) of Bella Vista, AR; his children, Hannah Higgins (Kevin) of Bella Vista, AR and Paul Shepard (Alison) of Waverly, IA; his grandchildren, Julia, Kate, Peter, Nora and Hazel Shepard; his siblings, Gloria Shepard of The Villages, FL, Bob Shepard (Judi) of Springfield, MO and Connie Wetz (Jim) of Johnston, IA; and his brother-in-law Tom Ellis (MaryAnn) of Pineville, MO. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
