He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Zelma Smith (Payne); his siblings, Anita Belle Smith, Rowena Meeks (Smith), Carol Wilson (Smith), Johnny Smith and Val Smith; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Sue Smith (Londigan).
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Thompson (Dennis Thompson) of Cumming, Gloria "Jeannie" Brickner (Smith) of Centerton, Arkansas and Mark Smith (Debbie Smith) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and his friend Margaret Whitehead of Hiwasse, Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
