He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert B. Teal and Pauline L. Teal (Graham); and his wife Shirley Whiteaker. He is survived by: his daughters, Tami Dunham of Salina, Kansas, Terri McDougal (Warren) of Bennington, Kansas and Donna Schooler (Derrell) of Grove, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Shea McDougal, Sean McDougal and Sarah Shuffer. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
