He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ryan and Stella Schnitzer Ryan; and his brother Teddy. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Tim Ryan (Kelli) of Frederick, MD, Jeffrey Downard (Cheryl) of Indianola, IA, Scott Downard (Judy) of Indianola, IA and Ann Schafer (Scott) of Pennsylvania; and his brothers, Carl Ray (Arline) of Rogers and Billy Joe (Any) of Pea Ridge, AR. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
