He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Oto; his brothers, Billy Ray and Charles Rodney (George Ivan); his brother-in-law Ross Oglesby; and his son-in-law Robert "Bobby" Upperman.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Daniel Lloyd Upperman (Maia) of Denton, TX and Mitchell Crawford Rowland (Taylor) of Bentonville; and his great grandchildren, Robert Augustus Vuykman (Bobby), Tate Crawford Rowland and Taney Mae Rowland. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
